The smartest thing our 2 unit condo did was to ask for help. The smaller condo units are actually tougher to get approval and the bank warned us that it might be 6 to 9 months until we got HRAP FHA/HUD approval.
After spending a day trying unsuccessfully to find what the process was through the various government websites, we found Total Capital Solutions as an option.
I knew just enough to be dangerous and had a lot of questions which Paul Nendel of Total Capital Solutions Group quickly and thoroughly answered. We quickly followed their simple instructions, gathering the documents we needed according to their list, and signing the papers.
We submitted the final documents to Total Capital Solutions on September 29 and had our approval on November 1!
We would have had it a week earlier but one of our documents didn’t have the proper courthouse stamps. When Total Capital Solutions says 30 to 35 days., believe them! They won’t lead you wrong.
